Barrio Dogs began its journey over a decade ago working in communities suffering from animal overpopulation and neglect.
We continue to work with residents and help them find the resources and information they need to help their pets live a long and happy life. At outreach events, we give away pet food and sign-up dogs and cats for free spay or neuter surgeries. We visit civic associations and community groups to talk about ways residents can address animal welfare concerns in their community. Additionally, we help people identify and report animal cruelty or neglect.
