FixIt
Barrio Dogs Fixit is about making sure our East End community’s pets are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Since 2013, our FixIt program has provided free spay neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and microchips for dogs and cats in Houston’s East End. On occasion, we assist owners who lack the resources for emergency care for their pet. At community outreach events, we sign up dogs and cats for spay or neuter surgeries and provide information to pet owners along with free pet food, leashes, and collars. To date, we have spayed, neutered and/or vetted almost 6,000 pets in our community.
